Install and first run

What the extension does the moment you install it, and the two things worth checking before your next post.

Everything lives in one side panel

Add the extension, open any Reddit page and click the PostGuard icon. The side panel has four tabs: Check, Health, History and Settings. There is no popup, and nothing is ever drawn on top of Reddit itself.

Sign in only when you need to

Pre-flight checks, the account health panel, manual visibility checks and the community data all work with no account. You only need one for AI reply drafts, which spend credits, and for Pro monitoring. Creating an account grants 30 credits once.

Start typing and the Check tab fills in

Open a submit page or a comment box. The extension reads your draft locally and scores it out of 100 with every reason listed. It re-runs as you edit, so you can watch a warning disappear after you fix what caused it.

What it will never do

PostGuard never posts, votes, comments or deletes on your behalf, and it never touches Reddit's developer API. It reads the pages your browser is already loading, the way a reader extension does. The Post button is always yours.
