What the signed-out view is, the four answers it can give, and why “not confirmed” is common and not bad news.
Why a signed-out view
Reddit shows you your own removed posts as though nothing happened. That is precisely why silent removals go unnoticed for days. PostGuard re-fetches your post with no cookies attached, which is exactly what a stranger or a search engine sees.
The four states
Visible means anyone can see it. Removed by a moderator means it is gone from the community. Filtered means it is sitting in a moderation queue and may still come back. Not confirmed means this particular check could not get a reliable answer.
Why “not confirmed” happens
Rate limiting, a slow page, or a post that is simply older than the listing window all produce it. A busy community turns over 25 posts in an hour, so absence from the public list stops meaning anything once your post falls out of that window.
One post gone is not a banned account
The account-level verdict on the Health tab needs more than one signal: your profile returning a 404, or enough recent items invisible at the same time. A single removal is a moderator's decision about one post, not a judgement on your account.
